What you'll own
Mainframe sells to professional desks - hedge funds, family offices, asset managers, fintech founders building on top. You will run full cycle from first conversation through term sheet, working alongside founders on accounts that move needle. Role demands actual knowledge of how institutional capital operates — what compliance officer at family office cares about, why fund administrator pushes back on certain reporting formats, where prime brokerage relationships break down in digital asset context. Generic SDR motion does not work here. Intelligent conversation does.
Who fits
You have closed institutional deals at platforms serving professional capital - prime brokers, custodians, fintech infrastructure, regulated VASPs. You can hold technical conversation about custody arrangements without translating every term back to your team. You read MiCA and FINMA SRO frameworks for fun (or close enough). You disagree with prospects when they are wrong, and they respect you more for it. EU institutional network is asset, not requirement.
Background signals:
Track record closing six-to-seven-figure annual contracts
Fluency across at least two EU markets (DACH preferred)
Comfort working alongside compliance, legal, product
English mandatory · German strongly preferred · French welcome
